In January I am going to lead the workshop in my Altered Minds Art group. Today I finally got my sample made so when we meet in December I can show the group what we are doing. We are making a tiny poly-clay book. It is only 2.75 inches square with 4 pages I think what drew me to the book is the unique way the pages are created from one piece of paper, folded in such a way and slit so that when manipulated correctly it forms the 4 pages with out ever cutting completely apart. The page are just right for writing favorite quotes, words of inspiration or any other message you want to write in.
I think, I am going to make some for Christmas ornament for my grands. This one is embellished with a doily but for the others I think holly, trees, colorful ornaments or anything Christmas-y would be pretty. They are tied closed with a ribbon. This one has an organza ribbon that you can't see.I found the instructions for this book in the CPS "Pages 2011" by Nancy M McCauley.
